Theres a chance im off to move to oxford in a couple of years and was wondering if anyone knows of any clubs that run events around there?

Yes Oxford ixion is the local club, run by very nice bunch of guy's they put on 8 or 9 trials a year, catering for all levels.
They put their dates on TC and have their own website under the same name.

The Stratford Club, Evesham & Leamington Victory Clubs all run trials within sensible distance of Oxford.

Hi Have alook at the North Berks web site, they run trials around the Didcot area, well run club with good venues, including Seymours Arena,
