laffing-gas Posted January 18, 2005 Report Share Posted January 18, 2005 Hi my gas gas txt 280 has got broken exhaust brackets under the middle box and is blowing a bit. Its not blowing enough to make the exhaust louder as i can tell but will the bike be losing power due to it losing gas from the middle and not the end of the exhaust pipe ? The bike as been like this since i got it so i havnt noticed any power loss myself but was just wondering if the bike would pull more or be more responsive if i fixed this problem. The bike seems fine to me but if i sort the exhaust out it might feel miles better. ? what do you lot think and is this a known problem with the gas gas (its a 2000 model) any help would be great cheers.
