The Classic Bikes Trials Show is coming to the heart of the
Midlands at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire
on 21st & 22nd August 2010.

The inaugural Classic Bikes Trials Show will host the UK’s first "Express" Trial. Run under a new format, the competition will condense the action of an all day trial into a short, spectator friendly event.
The Organisers are keen to re-establish the traditional four stroke trial and to this end there will be a completely separate route for these bikes.
The legendary Mick Andrews will ride again, the first time he has ridden in the UK for over five years. Mick is a former European Trials champion and five time winner of the Scottish Six Days Trial.
Invited riders are bringing the cream of classic trials bikes from yesteryear. Some will be ridden by their original riders from the heyday of trials which will include many ex British factor works bikes. They will compete for prize money on both days – a "first" in the sport. As well as an Invitational class for the elite riders there will be Open and Sidecar classes – in short something for all!
Combine this action with an exhibition of rare and famous classic motorbikes, a "Show Class" being judged by Peter Armitage (Corrie’s Bill Webster who is a keen and knowledgeable motor bike rider himself) , a Trade Marquee holding over 60 stands and a fabulous Auto Jumble where bargains can be sought or that last crucial part of any restoration project can be found! Colin Dommett, himself being a past British champion, will be interviewing celebrities from the classic competition throughout the week-end.
This week-end will be an absolute feast for any bike enthusiast as well as the family. There will be live entertainment, music, a pig roast and the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the legends of the trials world – don’t miss it!

For more information on entries to the open trial on both Saturday and Sunday go to the website for entry forms and the rule book.

Hi Legs

Mainly yes. We want to celebrate classic British four strokes, but we are having a small invited 2-stroke class each day in the trial to show off some pretty interesting early bikes. We are also running a couple of showing classes which I will be detailing on the website tomorrow, so I cant vouch for what people bring along to that.

We have some pretty special bikes already confirmed as coming and we have been able to reunite some bikes with thier original riders over the weekend which will be really interesting.

Is there anything specific you would want to see?

Cheers

Lee
