just purchased a Can Am (Armstrong) CMT310 with the 323cc Hiro engine. I understand that Hiro was purchased by Aprilia, is there still parts available for these engines? Or for Armstrongs?

Don't think Aprilia had anything to do with Hiro,(except for using their engines for a while) but i saw a few hiro parts on italian ebay, so maybe worth a look there.

Aprillia used Hiro engines but I am unaware of them owning or buying Hiro. Spares can be obtained from Italy, PM me with what you are after or if you need any help. Given that you have bought a Can Am version of an Armstrong are you in the US or Canada?

I have not had a chance to really give the bike a going over but the first items look to be front and rear sprockets and chain. I found Talon Engineering, is there any other parts sources for Armstrongs?

Hiro engine aside Armstrongs are just made up out of the '80's european trials bike parts bin, marzocchi forks, grimeca hubs etc, so nothing too difficult to source if it's basically sound.

had a first ride on the bike and heard some pinging after 30 minutes of riding, going to drain fuel and try again, but does anyone know the timing settings for the 323cc engine?
