I can recommend Electrex kits they have a bigger spark at low revs and the advance curve is very smooth. I have fitted quite a few of these to costumers bikes some in place of PVLs. I would recommend fitting it in the same way as PVL on posts. The reason for this if you give the clutch cover a big knock it will alter the air gap. This way PVL’s were mounted on posts. Electrex do a kit that mounts in this way but you have to ask for this fitting.

Thanks for the reply, the reason i was looking at the Elextrex system was to try and get away from the welding/machining needed when fitted on posts, but i can see what you are saying about damage to the clutch cover,but its good to know that the kit is reliable and performs well, thanks very much for your imput
