That's me in the top photo, black shirt and white helmet. Next year will be a full frame,...I've been collecting parts. Pictures to follow.........

How much does he charge for a TLR frame?I've got a bud who really wants to do something with his multiple Reflexes,I was gonna do some frame mods for him but he may jump on a custom frame.

At ITSA events , the rider not the machine is the entry . Allthough you must ride a bike in it's appropriate class . The ITSA machine rules ....
Ø Machine Classifications

o Modern Twin-Shock 1980 to present. Includes any air-cooled, drum brake, twin-shock trials motorcycle produced in 1980 and later. Class includes Specials (see Tech Section).

o Historic 1973-1979. Twin-shock, air-cooled trials motorcycles produced from 1973-1979 or Specials built from major components of this time period (see Tech Section).

o Pre-Historic 1972 and earlier (4 speed Spanish machines only. 5 speed machines are bumped to the Historic class). Includes any air-cooled, twin-shock drum brake trials motorcycles produced in 1972 and earlier, or specials built from major components from this time period (see Tech Section). Pre-Historic is divided into lightweight and heavyweight divisions. Heavyweight bikes are pre-unit four stroke machines 251cc and larger.

o Mono-Shock Support Any mono-shock trials motorcycle from any time period.
To me the rules are simple . My bike here Attached Image: SANY0009.JPG
and this converted montesa with a yamaha engine (which is a real cool bike and follows our rules ) are in the same class , And we ALWAYS have a great time !Attached Image: ct220r.jpg
Just get out and ride ! As long as your riding in the correct class Who cares !?

And a converted monoshock cheat bike has nothing to do with an original twinshock :wall:

Oh yes and it's illegal at ACU events too.

Aye but it might be a lot older than some of the 'Pre 65' bikes around!!!!

Is there any one out there that has converted a 301 to twinshock. The 301 i have has a steel swinging arm but i have an alloy swinging arm for a 201 and a spare sub frame to cut and weld so at the end i can put it back to a mono.If any one has any photos of convertion it woud be helpfull.
Thankyou
What have i started .What about i build a new twinshock frame use the engine which is the same as a 300 drum brake on the front, after all you can buy a frame from Sammy Miller for your Honda or Majesty for your yamaha. Would that keep every body happy. [I THINK NOT]

Sounds fine to me :icon_salut: apart from being illegal at ACU events.

BTW it's conversion. Been annoying me for a while has that one <_<

A terrible thing to do to a Bultaco frame and a waste of a 301 engine. If you're looking to sell the frame I'd be interested as my 198a frame is damaged.

Sorry woody but the frame is currently the basis of my 1st propper project, The 301 engine is due to be put into its correct frame and used in modern trials.......should be interesting as i have only ever done the classic stuff.
