was built by clive taylor...lives about 200 kms from me. a brit, speaking german, linin in france and working in switzerland. the clutch really was good...but a a 428 chain link comes clöose...

cheers

i susppect theres a lot of work in it as well. the gearbox xcase will need drilling tapping for the pivot bolt and the barrall likewise for the cable stop . so thats gearbox apart and strip down etc etc.. not a half hours job .. but certainly looks a neat solution. as lee says though a 428 link is reccomended elsewhere on this forum as was the removal of a couple of the clutch springs ( even that though requires whipping off the clucthc cover/ gasket and putting it back together whilst doing that thing with the kickstart with your third hand ..) still its all dome in a morning.. that and new cables luvverly and smooth i also found that you need levers with a fairly long throw some aftermarket levers didnt have enough, thankfully the ones on my cub did.. now what should i use on the cub and round you go..
We few .. We happy few...

Lee give Bob Gent a ring we both set our footrest's up with measurements from Nigel Birket who rode a works 200 back in the day. I think i went a bit lower and further back but have a feeling it was about an inch back and an inch lower
