How much gearbox oil do I need in my beamish (silver engine)
The manual states 700cc & the g/b cover states 850cc?

Just fill the gearbox until oil starts to bleed out of the level screw which is by the kickstart. The level screw is a hex head M6 bolt with a crosshead slot in it. From an engine rebuild you could probably get 850cc in the gearbox, from draining it in the bike you would probably only get around 700cc as there are some places that simply won't drain. ATF works well in the silver engine.
