Saw it at Telford if its the one you mean. Very nice replica of Vestys last 250. Not within my price range but very nice to look at.
Reed valve too...

The bike is a 250 modified in the same style as Vesty's last 340. Not an absolute exact copy but close.

1778 units - Model 199B from frame 198012876B to 198014653B

I know of a later frame number than this.

The one outside at telford was /is still for sale on wobbly wills site , not a bad price if it went for 800. I have had at least 6 of these over the years and they realy are a parts bin special with cylinders stamped 212 (alpina) and also on most the torque arms for the brakes are in steel as are some of the clutch and brake arms ,bulto had to use parts from other earlier models as they couldnt pay the suppliers for nice alloy bits im reliably told by a spanish friend , saying that my 199b also has steel torque arms

That's not the same bike, the one on Wobbly's is priced higher than that

Difficult to understand the £3200 price of the other bike. There have been two 198b Sherpas on ebay recently, both auctioned twice and neither made their reserve either time, £1450 being the highest either got to. Why £3200 for that one? Really sold?

Reed valve too...

Alot of money for a replica that has the original swinging arm and pivot point.
