Ossa TR 280i hard to start

Don't think Ossa are still 100% with the LSS, the system I'm trying out gives you the 9v you need to power up the ECU only and the capacitor is kept, the other systems use 12v and powers up the fuel pump which when doing so dumps un-needed fuel into the cylinder and also gets rid of the capacitor, when the battery pack I'm using goes flat the bike will still start as its still a std wiring system and you just have to buy another £2 9v battery they reckon I should get around a 1000 starts from a battery.

Is it because you've come over from the Dark-Side and no longer state that; '' taff_d is glad he's not a Geordie'' ?

Not my idea I'm afraid it came from my dealer.

who ever it came from " take a bow" fitted mine last night and from

cold it starts in 3 kicks, as before the TDSS (taffdstartsystem) i was

heading for 8-10 kicks

What I cant understand is why the importers dealers are not shouting this from the roof tops?

i ve started it three times during the course of today and tonight and

its been flat cold all three times and its started first kick. so fingers

crossed a excellent bike got perfect

They hardly need to with the internet and T Central.

Surely most 280i owners and mates must have read this topic more than once.

It's had enough hits.

Is this mod on 2013 model? I'll have to go for a yes.

It fixed our bike 100%, now its back to pilot error!
