For a bashplate, if you want something fancy would imagine D & C Classic Motor Cycles can help you out or re-direct you. Otherwise for the more pure functional try Steve Jones of http://progressivecl...products.co.uk/ , he has been known for a while for the loads of stuff he does for Ajays and Matchless, but seems to have expanded his activities for the good of the classic British-trials-iron enthusiasts.

Was looking at Alf the other day and looking at the sump which hangs
down below the bottom frame rails,is there a sump guard/bash plate
for the C15 or will I have to make one.Googled plenty of websites looking
for such an article but no joy. Making one won't be a problem but it would
be nice to see one so I can get some ideas.

Finally on the mend after last weeks Serious Man Flu ,missed last weeks trial
on the TY.Managed to do a bit of work on the Alf the C15(new small end bush).
I was wondering what sort of fit/clearance there should be between the bush and
the gudgeon pin(waiting on a reamer coming to finish it off).

hey broony, i would think your looking at half a thousandth of an inch minimum, and 1 thou' max. .0005"-.001"

Think all going well Alf will be ready for Kidlaw on the 3rd of June,hopefully
going up next weekend to help with sections and give Alf a shakedown.
