Press Release September 8th 2011

We are pleased to announce that we will be running the Adrian Brown Memorial
Trial, on Sunday October 9th (Thanksgiving) at Summerland BC

The event will start from the usual location at 10am, and will feature a brand new loop, with interesting sections for all classes. – Sanctioned by WTC

Directions : Follow Kettle Valley Rail Road signs from Summerland – then RED arrows after the Tracks.

All proceeds will go to the Cancer fund.

For those people who didn’t ever meet Adrian, he was born in England and came to Canada in the early 1980’s – he lived in Vernon for most of his time here, riding both local and West coast events in the Expert class.

He returned home to the UK in 2001 when he was diagnosed with cancer, and although he put up a brave fight, he passed away in 2010 at the age of 51.

We will always remember Ady, for his great sense of humor, and for all his help in working on Trials events in the Okanagan.

The second running of the Ady Memorial Trial is now in the history books - We had a great turn out of riders, considering that it was Thanks-giving weekend - There were 11 from Alberta ( a ten hour drive) and 19 from BC.- The weather was almost perfect, and everybody had fun on the long loop which featured 20 sections. The results and pictures can be seen on www.outlawtrials.com
