Very best wishes

Thank you, the camera is an old Kodak digital compact!

I’m hoping to have a DSLR for Christmas (hint to the wife), so there should be more coming

Must admit it surprised and to be honest shocked me too. The potential litegation issues are frightening.

Saying that nice to see some piccys of "pre65" bikes being used

There is nothing in their insurance that stipulates they have to wear helmets

Ok Dave but that wont deter an ambulance chaser. Just seems needlessly negligent to me. When i first started a bobble hat and a pair of goggles was deriguer along with a Belstaff jacket, trousers and NCB wellies but the bobble hat along with the rest of the "gear" has gone and i wouldnt ride without a helmet nowadays insurance stipulation or not! How many times have you smacked your head on a low branch and thanked whichever god goes with you you were wearing a helmet? I have.

Yes, don't disagree with that, just meant that there is no insurance requirement that they wear them.

I observed a BMCA trial a few weeks ago and realised they don't all wear helmets before hand but I wouldn't risk it. If a bad accident happened I dare say the rules would change after the horse etc etc.
"Be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others; even the dull and ignorant. They, too, have their story."
