Right on for Pibernat on the left.

The guy on the right is a wonderful man named Dani Font.

He owned the SWM and Bultaco small shop that Casas and Pibernat visited as young children and then started later worked in and started Gas Gas from. Dani Assembled every GasGas engine personally untill they moved into the old Merlin factory in 1989.The Moto Villa engines were cheaper bought dissasembled.

Here he is in the same place - 26 years later .Its not a shop now.He's still got the bug though.





The chasis were fabricated at an old warehouse 200m away thats since gone ,now flats.

Pietro Kuciukian, an Italian dentist who's part time job was SWM trial team manager.

Giovanni Tosco, Italian national trials champion in 1975/76 for Ossa and was SWM's development rider.

Bernard Cordonnier, Belgian, very tall and SWM works rider, 7th in World Champs 1983.
