Gday All,
As someone who is over getting rust out of a steel tank i thought it would be fun [torture] to see some photos of tank alternatives for TY175s. I really like the KATO shaped tanks....

Try this stuff cleaned to ty tanks with it and they are like brand new inside

give em a good rattle with a handfull of nuts and bolts, flush out and seal. the rust actually helps the stuff bind to the tank..

I've just bought a tank from Craig at Majesty - Yamaha, I'm thinking of fitting it upside down so you can see how smart the welding is. :P

white vinigar works well for cleaning rust out of tanks
I live in my own little world,but thats ok they know me there

If you decide to get a alternative tank please sell me your stock tank, I am really not having any luck finding a orange/white ty175 or a aluminum TY250 tank. If anyone knows where I can get either please let me know.

Have a look on ebay - theres a aluminium TY250 one on there - currently £50 - needs paint
