Most Worked On Work's Bike......

I wonder which work's bike was/is the most radical/specialised/worked upon ever built.

Could it be the HRC Honda ridden by Eddie Lejuene, Dougie's 315R or 4RT, the 4RT of Antonio Bou, maybe Jordi Tarres Gas Gas or the one ridden by Adam Raga.

There must be loads more bikes that I have not even thought about, does anyone have an answer and do you know what went into the making of that bike?

The early 90's Aprilia Climbers ridden by Bosis, Miglio and latterly Ahvala were pretty damn special.

The workmanship and trick bits on them was unreal. Proper works of art.

Tarres' 1994 Gas Gas was also very very trick.

Future bikes were not high tech.

They are, To be honest you don't actually realise how high tech they are, Engine is very very different, Very tricked up bike, Including titanium bolts throughout

Not a patch on Toni Bou's Machine though

To be honest they aren,t.

they werent even a full 300 wiggys bike was 272cc, they chopped about at the swinging arm for no good reason the shockers weren't that good and ti bolts dont make it special.

Gearboxes are standard as was clutch forks never had anything done to them and the mechanics really weren't very good, all from personal experience with them at wtc.

I had forgotten the Aprilia's, I have always considered the red Lejeune HRC Honda to be quite something but for all I know it may have had many production parts in it though the engine seemed nothing like anything Honda sold.

Before you make statements, Read the right hand side on the link, And that is more cut down than the TRW bike and it's 292cc! And don't forget Future have secrets as well!

I could tell you what the least worked on un-works bike is.

My son's Scorpa 175F heading for marshalling duties at the SSDT.

Good one Breagh, where are you marshalling at the SSDT?

Sadly it's only the laudie this year.

For certain he will be marshalling the bar at the Ben Nevis Hotel to an exacting standard.

The riders will miss me,not many observers fill in all the holes and ride (five) the sections 20 times before they arrive.

Don't tell Rab mind.

Dont believe everything you read, they might be better now but the team were all front and glossy websites.(I did say were)

There was not one future bike at the WTC so if they were special they would be there surely?

Before you make statements touch and feel the truth.
