I know of one because a lad just up the road has it. (125 With the Sherco motor)

Only really a colour change on the frame and new decals.

Says it's only one of two in the UK.

As for the 2013 photo call me a slavering B%$£^&".

I had a good look at it doesn't really look right.

If you check out the Eastscotland trials site there may be a photo somewhere of the said 125 with the orange frame.

Last night a pal showed me a picture on his phone of what he reakoned was the 2013 Scorpa 280.

Came in very tasteful blue and white livery.

He downloaded it with great difficulty when he was on holiday in Hungary.

Anyone know more on this?

Can anyone post the picture he is referring to?

I'm aware of two 2012 Scorpas in the US. One is a 280, the other came in as a 125 and has been converted to a 200.

Well, then I at least know of two as well, Brad has one and so does Chris Cullins. The converted one your talking about was a 2011. Im sure some other people got one as well. Still wondering about this pic of the new Scorpa though, I did some looking on Google and Bing images and didn't come up with one.

IMO a truly underated machine.

I bought one of the last 2011 280s .

Steers lovely with bags of usable power and totally stable.

The other makers offerings may suit younger "trick" style riders but for everyrone else I would recommend it.

And the best bit is no high rent suspension linkage.

I feel the importer hasn't pushed these machines because supply may have been tricky.

Shame there isn't more about.

The engines state of the art compared with the old Yam lump (real motorcyle engine)

Thats the first thing most say"it's got the old sherco engine" underating I would say?

How old's that Beta motor with the kickstart on the wrong side?

Nobody mentions that.

I saw this bike firsthand and pictures do not do it justice, there is all kinds of detail in the graphics, really looks great. I have still yet to try one, but Im sure if it's any as good as my yammie one, than they are probably the best riding bike out there.

Yeah, that's the real reason I started this thread, everyone else already as the 13 out and Scorpa doesn't yet, so kinda gets me worried. Don't want to see them go away.

This is the 2012 Scorpa. I have heard nothing of a 2013 myself.

I'm very happy with my '12. I think about seling it and updating to a '13, but when I ride it I think why would I want anything else?

there a picture of the 2013 Scorpa on the planet trials website.

The new Scorpas are good, solid motor and quality form and fit.

I rode a 2011 half a season and my best finish was 5th, switched

to a 250 gas gas pro and finished 3rd first time out and even won

my class. Gas Gas suits be best the sherco is similar, Beta and Scorpa

are different. Too each his own!
