At least laser has a constructive suggestion,the rest of you wouldn't know a trials bike if it run you over.

I would be reluctant to touch carb settings as it runs so nicely.

I was hoping someone had retarded (Good word in this company)one,and how it went.

No more replies from Jockland please.

If it's the auld sherco engine, pull the flywheel off,

mark where the stator is, slacken the 3 bolts, then move the stator plate about 5mm, rebuild and try it out. It made a difference to my 04, 06, and 09 bikes.

Oh it's the Sherco motor then! Yep, Demmo is right. There should be a mark on the stator plate that aligns with the right edge of the casting web on top. I usually tell folks , a change(counter rotation to retard or slow) of 1-2mm(mild), 3-4mm(mid) or 5-6mm(most), so adjust accordingly. Seems a 1mm change is not really enough to tell. :beer:
