I built my own chair for my Bultaco and it cost me more than that just for materials,wheel,brake+bit's and bob's. Would that chair fit you'r Bultaco? Yes it would! you would have to adjust the mounting's and make new brackets to fit your Bulto. Just remember you will need the sidecar wheel too lead the bike's rear wheel by between 9.5" and 10.5" have a minimum track of 34.5" (in ACU hand book) and have the sidecar wheel toe in by about 1.5" over the wheel base of the bike. Would you need to cut up your Bulto's frame? NO NO and again NO. I have a 1969 Bultaco M49 and fitted my chair without making any modification to the bike's frame. The only mod's I have done is to fit 50 lb springs to the rear shocks, heaver fork oil up front. and a bigger back sprocket. Outfits are the most fun you can have with your cloths on AND you get to do it with a friend !!!! The wife and I have been riding our's for a few months now and she is still coming home from work and ask's if we can go ride the outfit. Sorry to sound dumb but what do you mean by all of the above? Side car wheel needs to lead rear by etc etc. Unfortunatly looks like the chair on ebay will go beyond my current budget. p@ul250 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Share Posted June 8, 2013 Hi bultoboy, OK Wheel lead = the centre point on the ground that the sidecar wheel touches should be 9.5"to 10.5" ahead of the centre point that the bike's rear wheel touches Track = the distance measured from the centre of the track left by the rear wheel to the centre of the track left by the sidecar wheel. Toe in = The sidecar wheel needs to point towards the front wheel of the bike very slightly, I.E. if you have a straight edge against the sidecar wheel and take a measurement from the front and rear wheel spindles of the bike. The front one will be 1.5" less than the rear measurement. Just need to mount it to one of my bikes and the fun can begin.
