Torque Setting For Rear Wheel Nut 99 Techno

The title says it all really...

Just adjusted the chain and need to tighten up the rear wheel spindle nut..

Have had a search on here but nothing popped up and the owners book is.....well, vague on info about anything really.

So folks...how tight does it need to be please

Beta uk would tell you if no else knows I asked the same for my rev I can't remember what it is but I did it once and it was as tight as it would go and I've just used a Allen key to hold back and a 24mm 10" ring spanner since.

You could do that and then check it when your back at the van when your having a break.

The Evo has a pretty good manual by the look of it but the Rev ones don't contain much either.

The Evo manual probably got the torque measurements that would be a indication.

I`d be more worried of the adjustment of the chain tensioner. Too tight and there goes the rear hub.
