Gents,

just looking for a bit of help !!

I'm finally getting my act together and I've got my 243 (212cc) engine into my 240 frame .

I have a couple of problems - I seem to have no clearance between the Carb - 26mm Dellorto and the exhaust - Have I got the right Cylinder > Carb Manifold on ?? do I need a 90 degree adapter ??post-1071-0-98626000-1398935614_thumb.jpg.post-1071-0-84920000-1398935775_thumb.jpg

Can anyone confirm how and where I should run the throttle cable

It has a clutch lightener on - where shall I run the clutch cable

Lastly - I have some wires for the ignition - Could you confirm which ones are for a kill switch !!!post-1071-0-09520300-1398935704_thumb.jpg

I've attached some photos -

Any pictures of your own set ups would be a great help !!

Many thanks

The Wobbler

I hope you can judge from the spare engine shot's for the angle of the intake , and are you running the 240 exhaust ?

Good luck !

(and yeah I haven't cleaned my bike since a Ryan Young school a couple of weekends ago !!!)

Gents ,

Thanks for that so far

Axul SUV - Thanks for the pics - I think my manifold looks the same !!

- I see i'll need to get a bend on the cable and maybe tap the exhaust in a bit !!

I think the fact that the original 240 had a 25mm Dellorto and im' using a 26mm that goes with the 243 might be part of the reason.

I'll try canting it over a little when everythings in place.

Motopelli - Thanks for that on the Kill switch - I thought so but confirmation is always good.

Any other advice will be gratefully accepted.

Cheers again.

The Wobbler.
