kramit
I`m going to replace the seals in my section forks but cant find any info on oil type or quantity. Can anyone help???? My 95 Section Man. says.... SINISTRO: versare l'olio nelle gambe forcella verificando che tra la sommita degli steli ed il livello dell' olio rimanga un volume d'aria di 150mm: rimontare il tubetto di precarico molla nello stelo sinistro ed avvitare i tappi superiori alla coppia di serraggio di 25 Nm Diagram shows oil level 150 mm from the top of the fork.......looks to be with forks compressed as dampening rods appear to sticks out the top 6 inches or so. Hope this helps
breagh
I recently acquired on of these Sections. Did a seal a week or two ago, alas it's been fitted with a set of USD Beta forks which is no help. Personally because i don't believe the amount of oil is a critical as some would say try roughly 280ml of 5wt in each leg,go 10 wt if you're a big lad. If they're bottoming out you could always add a few ml to suit. Cheers.
