Begs the question if they don't want to pay an ex WTC champ a good wage will he give up or settle for reduced £££?

Montesa HRC will stick with Doug as he is the rider with the most to offer their team. No other riders CV touches Doug's and therefore Montesa HRC cannot afford to lose him.

Will he be riding in the WTC at all next year???

HRC is the only decent paying ride out there at the moment, and will they be able to produce a 4RT, capable of beating the rest, by next season?

Think that with an "uncompetetive bike", several young riders coming up through the ranks, and a new family.....he might just quit while he's ahead.
