I noticed the common post for the Aprilia Climber Rotax 280R is, I'm looking for a CDI. Did you have any luck finding one. preferably one that isn't OEM. I wonder if these CDI's are just not meant to be over heated, or run to long at one time. When mine went out it was the first time I had packed extra gas and had been riding on the second fill up. Just and idea. I was going to take my old one apart to see what went wrong, but a wildfire burnt it up last summer. Has anyone else taken a cooked 280R cdi apart with success?
