Canada280i, I've got filler breather fitted but find it keeps throwing oil out of it which is down to the design of the ossa lubrication system Aprently it throws oil got the clutch side a cross the bike. me and my dealer have had a chat and his idea as to drill and tap the casing behind the kick start and fit a small angled grease nipple with the ball removed ??

I also found the oil still gets up the tube but by lengthening the tube up under the tank cover, the extra length does not allow the oil to be pumped all the way.

That being said I would like to see the result of your idea as that is how the new bikes are. If you take the clutch cover of there does seem to be space to drill and tap a nipple and the remoteness of that location should stop any more oil from being thrown out

On the 2015 bikes with the breather exiting at the top of the casing above the kickstart shaft, the crank case casting has been modified to provide more material at this point to drill and tap the hole for the breather nipple. If you were to make this mod to an older model, probably best to stay with M5 threads as there is more chance of getting a few turns in, seeing as the pitch is 0.8mm rather than 1.0mm of the 2015 model's M6 nipple.

yes I just removed the exhaust and went from the rear, take care though I

drilled my hole a bit too close to the frame and struggled to tap it in hind

sight mine should have been 5-10mm futher over to the gear side or I

should have bought a longer tap.

rode for 4 hours on saturday and not a drop of oil came back out !!!!!!!!!
