Hi,

Guys again just wanted to share my happiess with all of u !!

Yesterday sold my rev3 2006 for 3.500$ and bought a almost new 2011 evo factory 300....for only 4.500$ :xmas::banana::bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:

This bike was stored for 3 years and used only a handfull of times !!!

I have to thank God to put this bike on my Hands !! Blessed !!!

All I can say this new bike rips !!!

Super Snappy and really Powerfull compared to my rev3 270....

I had to be ULTRA Carefull with the throttle.... this bike is a Animal in Steroids !! jajaja... Really !!

A total different feeling in all senses,..

The Geometry and the Stability is out of this world !!! This thing is Rock solid !!!

Beta really did a great job creating the new evos... they are plain incredible !!!

Ill have to Salute all of us whom own this Evos Bikes.... We are truly BLESSED !!

Tomorrow ill get the Jitsie oversize impeller pump kit...( we have really hi temps here) and the Forks Covers...mandatory for the creeks and brutal boulders riding im attacking lately..

And ride her twice a week.... Im progressing really fast in trials riding... Im amazed..

Thank for all of you who gave me good advices on my recent Threads !

God Bless Trials Riding and Beta .. jejejej :hyper:

Very nice :) how you getting on with it?

Bug catches on  thinking of selling my road bike (R6) as I don't use it and might look for an Evo.

What are the differences on the factory versions?

Rich you can try my 4t when I get back at the weekend.

Nice bike podracer..

Thanks oil baron... yes indeed...is a awesome solid bike !

I went out 3 times already with her and the difference is night and day... in every way,,

The engine is more torquier, and snappy at the same time.... The rev 3 felt really slow compared to this animal !!

takes real caution to twist the throtle in this EVO compared to my Rev3..... a total different animal...

the suspension is a dream... but more waaayyy more sensitive on the rear regarding the progressive sensation of the rear end ( due to the linkage)  which for sure Ill need ASAP  a stronger spring to compensate my weight and bring the bike into balance,....

Exactly as every bike I rode , Raced and owned,,,  they need rear springs changed asap... ride with a saggy bike on the rear is the worst feeling ever.... affects the riding... really bad.

And more when you begin to attack bigger obstacles and drops... they need perfect balance front to rear..

So stronger RED spring is on my list when i get my next PAY CHECK... :hyper:

Now, im getting alone with this bike really well.... love this baby.... is powerfull instantly !

Richfr ...

The difference with this factory and the normal evo... I beleive is a bit more RED BLING BLING ....

And a AWESOME AND ULTRA LIGHT TITANIUM Front PIPE !!   The normal EVOS comes with a Stainless steel pipe...

Also I believe suspension valving may be slightly different... and also the mapping as well.... NOT something I can feel really.... My skills in TRAILS ARE LIMITED to PUSH THIS BIKE TO HALF OF HER CAPABILITIES....

But HOPEFULLY Ill learn quickly and begin to SQUEEZE HER the way SHE was INTENDED and DESIGNED FOR... :madnoel:

ohhh..also forgot this bike feels REALLY LIGHT IN THE FRONT...

But AGAIN I believe is due to the poor setting Im getting Form the REAR SHOCK SPRING ....

IM 95KG so getting THE OEM SPRING TO WORK CORRECTLY FOR MY WEIGHT IS A FANTASY !!!

People say to Give more preload to the spring... But THAT IS THE MOST COMMON MISTAKE PEOPLE DO ON THEIR BIKES...

SUSPENSION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF EVERY BIKE !! PERIOD !!

ENDURO, MX, TRACK, EVERY BIKE NEEDS TO BE DIALED FOR YOUR WEIGHT... THEN FINE TUNED FOR YOUR SKILLS AND TERRAIN YOU RIDE.

THAT I LEARNED AT THE 3 DAY SUSPENSION SEMINAR I ASSISTED IN 2010 IN CORONA CALIFORNIA.

AT THE RACE TECH FACILITIES.. FROM THE MASTER HIMSELF !!   MR PAUL THEDE !!!

People spend money on REALLY EXPENSIVE EXHAUST SYSTEMS... BLING BLING PARTS.... AND  THAT TO ME IS WASTED MONEY,,

THAT I LEARNED THE HARD WAY... DOZENS OF BIKES AND HUNDREDS OF RACES.. AL TO REALIZE THAT THE ONLY INVESTMENT ON ANY BIKE IS   SUPENSION :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Again, love this bike.. and found TRAILS <bikes at REALLY HARD THINGS TO MASTER...  <takes TIME ...

:agreed: :agreed:

It's all good! I put the same white fender on my '13. Wish I had waited a year though and got the white painted frame like my buddy's '14 factory. Probably the prettiest bike I've ever seen. I also went for the heavier springs courtesy of Steve Saunders. Bonus is I get to EMAIL one of my trials heroes. :D. I've also done the sticker kits from Steve for my bikes. Good stuff.

Had to Custom made these Risers in Aluminum and now I feel waaayyy more comfy in my bike cockpit..

A little black spray paint and voilaa,,,went out yesterday and the difference is amazing !!

Now, on the other hand..

The OEM Rear Master Cylinder is really bad..

Had Problems with it since day 1.

Had bleeded it 4 times.. with all the techniques known and tricks...

And as soon its get hot... I loose all pressure and rear brake pedal fades all the way down...

There are no leaks.. opened the rear caliper , took out the pistons... cleaned them.. lubed them...

and same ooo problem..

Solution :::

Rear CHINESE Master Cylinder Pump...

Now I have a really Precise Rear Brake... No overheating ( This has Lots of more Fluid capacity and a LARGER PISTON ASSEMBLY INSIDE )

Plus a reservoir , which I attached zip tied to the frame...

As far as risers go tall, has nothing to do with it. Ever hear of short riders raising the foot pegs? Raising the bars considerably causes loss of leverage and loss of forward body position on large ups. But, if you are putting many miles on the trails and not riding trials enjoy.
