Rear Break Pedal Adjustment

Hi everyone. Quick question. I have a 2003 txt 280 pro and want to lower the rear brake pedal slightly. If I loosen the nut it seams I have to rotate the entire bottom assembly to raise it which would involve disconnecting it. On every other bike I have had its usually a second nut to adjust up or down. What am I missing?

Thanks

You shouldnt have to disconnect the pedal. Once you loosen the lock nut the the threaded pin that goes into the master cylinder should rotate into the pedal, a pair of pointy pliers is needed to do this. Maybe its ceased in the threads of the pedal.

PS to lower the pedal you will want to lower this pin, not raise it.

Ok. Figured out you have to actually grab the pin by the threads to turn. That worked. Thanks
