Help, I Have Extra Wires!

Sry for the idiot post. Putting my 06 TXT 300 back together after a long down spell.

 

I did take pics when I pulled the wires, but I guess I missed these.

Note one unattached wire coming from coil with round female receptacle, and one coming from CDI with rectangluar female receptacle (on left).

 

I have pulled all my lights, so one or both may be superfluous, but before I try firing it up I want to check.

 

Any advice apreciated.

I think blue/white should go to the cdi from the coil,

 

And white goes to the killswitch to ground.

 

Yes it says black/white, but I think it's the blue/white which goes to coil. My kill switch is already wired direct from CDI. That leaves one unattended wire leaving the coil. Shown on right in my original.

Well just try, YOu cant do much wrong. It wont start if wrongly wired (no spark).

 

As long as the fan etc is connected propperly. I always figure it out on the go, just by looking and thinking what wires should do. And they are sometimes a pain in the *** to connect propperly and fit under the tank.
