Hi,

If you have ANY interest in the real history of motorcycle sport, not the carefully edited press announcements fed over the years by factory publicity departments to actually hide, in very many cases, the true state of where they were at - then I suggest you get ready to read ORRe-29.

There you will find the true story of the man who was arguably the greatest pre-war sportsman to have ridden regularly in the world's first ever motorcycle trial, the Scott Trial, to have won it several times and to have amassed probably the greatest personal collection of Scott spoons ever.  Why do I say true - because it has been written by his friends who knew him personally, who rode with him regularly.

More importantly we have photographed in great detail, for the very first time, his motorcycles, not hidden away in museums but sadly, living many, many miles away from the Yorkshire home of motorcycling where they must truly belong.  Moreover the detail images of the actual machines are a world exclusive which must surely be seen by every true enthusiast.

They will not be seen anywhere else.

Hi Steve,

To meet the cost of printing and distribution of a glossy mag I would have to accept advertising to pay for the glossy paper, etc.  Then I would have to accept that some advertisers don't want to see 'uncomfortable' mentions of their products.

I am only prepared to say it 'how it is' - so, no, there isn't a glossy version that might end up hanging from a nail in some bog.
