The annual Bob Owen Memorial Trial will take place at the Parkwood Offroad Centre where the organising Horsforth Motor Club and are set for a bumper entry. It will be the twenty sixth event since 1988. The trial has raised a staggering £55.000 since those early years and every penny has been donated to charitable causes. The ACU Permit state it is an Open Event consequently every solo class is included right down to a separate Small Wheels conducted category. The initial course details are three laps and fourteen sections. Entries may be posted to Mr B Fairburn, 24 Regent Avenue, Horsforth, Leeds, LS18 4NJ. Entry fee will be Adult £15.00 and Youth £10.00.
