After listening to Dougies and Fuji's video clip and their response to no-stop for the WCT I wondered who would really gain an advantage with the no-stop rule? A four-stroke rider or a two-stroke rider.
I know the reasoning would be to ease up on the sections, but how much?
If a rider can't stop forward motion who really has the advantage on a world champ type large step?
Is no-stop really in the cards for 06?

Spain is for 2-strokes whereas Hawkstone Park, UK is for 4-strokes. I can't envisage any advantages with either engine because if there were the debate on the non-stop rule would not take place.
However, in answer to your question, my gut feeling is the 4-stroke would do better in a pure non-stop environment. I owned a 4rt and keeping the wheels turning was a much better way of riding, jerky clutch action I found upset the bikes rythem.

is it no-stop as in stop = 5. or simply back to how it was where they were rewarded a 1 for stopping?

no stop slightly benefits the 2 strokes, as the bikes are much lighter they are far easier for the fiders to flick and hop about whilst holding forward momentum.
Are you stalking me? 'Cos that would be super!!
