laird387 Posted December 15, 2015 Report Share Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Richmond Motor Club Youth Awards Afternoon. Richmond Cricket Club, Sunday. Over fifty Richmond Motor Club members assembled with their parents on Sunday afternoon for the annual youth awards function where Richmond Motor Club Director Steve Lambert welcomed the one hundred and fifty parents, grandparents and children. John Sunter presented all the awards to fifty youngsters. Their ages ranged from four to sixteen. One little boy, Ben Sunter, was presented with his first ever trophy by his father John. Yet another member of the Healaugh farming family following in the footsteps of his grandfather Richard. After the awards ceremony a buffet supper was enjoyed followed by a bike balancing competition judged by Charlotte, Ros and Andrew Brown. A colouring competition was judged by Vera Watson and Diane Horner. A raffle raised £355 which will be donated to Butterwick Hospice. Steve Lambert closed the evening by thanking Vicky Andrews for her work sorting out awards, to Vicky, Youth Secretary Sandra Fowler, Chris Wallis and Charlotte and Ros Brown for all their work in the youth events throughout the year.
