The Peak Classic Trials Club are holding round 11 of their 2016 Club Championship at Stathams Quarry opposite Matlock Golf Club on the main Tansley to Chesterfield road. Start time as usual is 11.00. Expert, Classic Expert, Intermediate, Classic Intermediate and Clubman routes. Classes for British bikes, Pre 85 twinshocks, Pre 95 Air Cooled Monos, Forgotten era and over 50's on moderns.

Stathams quarry is an old disused sandstone quarry and i was down there starting to lay out the course and i can confirm that even after the recent heavy rain and storms the course is almost unaffected and the ground is mostly dry so a great days sport is there for the taking on Sunday.

See you there  :icon_salut:

I had meant to ride more Peak Classic trials this year after enjoying three or four of them last year but this was my first of 2016 and it was brilliant.

I am determined to try to ride most of the Peak Classic trials from now on; they're always well organised, well set out and great fun with really friendly people enjoying proper trials venues.

It was my first ride at Statham Quarry and I can't wait to ride there again.

Well done Paul.

P.S. Magnus was on a Fantic in the Clubman AC Mono class not a Yam.
