Rear Tyres

Looking at purchasing a new rear tyre. I’m new to trials and have realised the bike I’m riding has a tube fitted in the Michelin rear x11 tyre. It’s rounded it edges and looks like it’s previou been turned round but i’ve still got quite a bit of tread. I’m really struggling to get grip on wet ground.  Would a fresh tyre make a big difference? Was looking at Pirelli tyres as they’re a lot cheaper (MT 43 ) are they ok or should i pay a bit more for a Michelin. Thanks

IRC recommended for muddy conditions.

So as you see, it's a confusing decision, but only consider IRC/Michelin/Dunlop.

Check on eBay for best deals. BVM Moto were best last time I looked.

As a beginner, are you quite sure you're accurately measuring your tyre pressure? It's a common mistake to run the tyre even slightly too inflated, resulting in less grip.
