the exhaust brackets break quite often on the pros and is quite a high maintenance bike, the power of the bike is quite aggressive and has alot of power but if you can handle it then it should be ok aslong as its in good nick it shoudnt be bad

Terrific bike if you get a good one, moneypit if not.Ask the owner how often thegearboxoil gets changed,it needs fresh about every 3 trials to be on the safe side,as it also lubes the main bearings.Kickstart gears break, but chew up first allowing metallic contamination of gear oil which gets in the mains. Ihve an o4 raga which has had no problems,my son has one which has needed all the above,a lot of it is down to how its been ridden and maintained.Middle silencer box needs changing for a steel one,the alloy one falls to bits.Hope all this doesn't put you off, they are very competive even against 06 bikes ,much better than a normal 300.They have adifferent exhaust, keihin carb, programmable ignition, ohlins shock and some magnesium parts to make it lighter.NOT a bike if you are a novice though
