  1. Here are pics of my '17 Evo 250 stock plates. This thread had me curious what they looked like. Compared to my '12, shifting feels easier, more concise. I was surprised to see it already had the red recessed washers.
  2. Just thought I'd share a couple pics of what to expect for those coming to the 1st ever AMA/NATC national in Kansas, this May 31st/June 1st. For those that don't know, Kansas isn't completely flat! Ark Valley Trials Association has done a great job preparing for this event. These pics were taken before clearing limbs and leaves, but now most of the areas are ready for ribbon! Check out www.avtatrials.com for more info. There's some pretty cool club history tid-bits on the website too, including info on NATC hall of famer Bill Grapevine. Here's an old video showcasing our 1st time riding the the area back in 2009: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/i0WwdpVS5WQ?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Beta Evo 4t Fork Seals

Here is the sherco link that will show you the basic principles on older paioli forks. I have yet to change fork seals in my evo, but I would imagine things haven't changed too much. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/sherco_fork_seal_replacement-1.pdf Hope this helps

  5. Couldn't sleep, so I went through as many club websites as I could and made up a list of the ones that are working. Just put it in alphabetical order. No offense to those I may have missed. There are no business/for profit links. I emailed this list to NATC to do with as they please, suggesting maybe a club "links" page, as I don't believe this to be a definitive directory. I do understand the hassle of setting up and keeping such a list current though, and wouldn't blame them if they choose not to post such information. At least it's here for now... 6. In dealing with the brace isssue, if insurance covers the brace, certainly go for a custom fit brace recommended by your orthopaedic physician. DonJoy and Breg are the most commonly used where I'm from. Having an integrated guard may help with protection during any falls. "IF" you're an active individual and continue having symptoms of an unstable knee, I'd be surprised if the doc doesn't recommend reconstruction. Either way, hopefully they have you on an exercise program designed to strengthen your legs(specifically hams and quads). Other than reconstruction, strengthening will be the next best thing. Oh, and avoiding those long dabs! As for the Beta, have had no problems and love the 200. Just don't let a new bike take focus away from rehabing that knee!
  7. Just changed one on my wife's '04 125, simple job just as you stated on your YZF. Couldn't figure the cause, but have had no problems since replacement.
  8. Hey Ron, glad you guys could make it. Wish you could have rode rest of the property, as you saw maybe half of it. Charles, I remember talking to you in Douglass, we'll be sure to let you guys know next time we make a trip. Around/after the holidays would be great. John, it is a few miles outside of Sedan, KS. Not the typical image you get when picturing Kansas huh!
  9. Just thought I'd post a video of a potentially new area for our club here in SE Kansas. Hopefully we'll be hosting an event here in '10. The video barely represents the amount of obstacles this 200+ acre land contains. A truly amazing place, big thanks to Ron and Leah for being such gracious hosts and letting us ride. (sorry for the shakiness, a bit of arm pump)
  10. Just thought I'd add a few more pictures of the event, you might recognize Smage in a few...
  11. As for me I've been waiting for a schedule like this, previous years have conflicted with spring/fall school sports. This will be my first experience riding nationals, whatever happens with the schedule changes I guess I'll take what I can get. Hey Chris, yeah I'm the one that's getting the 125, the wife can't hardly wait!
