    Overheating

Check the water pump...it's usually the problem when they get hot...little spline snaps of...
  2. I would look at the water pump...they tend to snap...you won't know it's broke till the engine gets red hot like you said or the radiator pipe goes bang with the pressure.
  3. Grease inside of the rim then re fit rim tape works for us
  4. Rebuilt an o7 250...put a new dph clutch why we were at it.... we then added atf oil and it made terrible noise...after racking our brains thinking we put something back wrong we noticed on the clutch box a big white sticker stating "do not use ATF oil !!!" put normal bike gear oil in and it's all fine no noise
  5. No it's one of them French ones...
  6. My mate foloows me round with a wheelbarrow picking all the bits up it's not a problem really
  7. Bike is all fine now...never use ATF oil in the gearbox no wonder so many gassers make a noise!!
  8. No there was We had used wrong oil (AF) as it was a dph clutch...all running fine now
  9. Hi Bought an 07 txt250 Engine had an annoying "rattle" turned out to be 2 bearings knackered in gearbox Put everyithing back together new bearings in gearbox new piston new clutch etc. Started bike up...there is an annoying rattle coming from the clutch area...when you engage gear the noise goes...when you pull the clutch in the noise is still there it only goes when you engage gear!! We've checked the clutch basket etc and everything seems to be fine.....any ideas before we strip it down again? arghhh!! Thanks Steve

  12. Which is what I did...I didn't just go and buy an Ohlins I tried two shock repairers and both said the same thing...you can bodge them but the chances of the gas staying in is very slim and for
