  1. Side panels, Paintjob and Mudguards on my TL were made by Shedworks.... http://www.shedworks.net/store.html
  2. I knows the article, but can't find it..... To get better handling in trials sections , I had longer shocks on the rear ( NJB from my TLR200 ) and put the fork legs a little through the yokes.... It was still a long and heavy bike, more pre65 than twinshock, but I had a lot of fun on it, sold it because of changing to TLR250...
  3. My first Montesa, a 05 4RT, imported from UK by a friend, I modified springs for my weight , put a higher handlebar on it, new footrests, had to change all liqiuds, new chain kit and now ready for the first Trials practice….
  4. the 200 based on the 250 engine with different crank, not on the 125..... If you have a GASGAS or Sherco, you can change the barrel and make a "200" with about 160cm³....
  5. If you use the bike on italian or french alp trails, you need lights and a number plate on the bike, I will not really use it on the road...
  6. I'm interested in the X-Track, had an OSSA Explorer some years agoo... Anyone here owns the bike or had made a test ride on it ? how are the street parts fixed on the bike, number plate, flashers, speedo ? Found only pics of the bike in "trials" trim...
  7. Anyone here nows what Montesa changed on the 4ride ? 2016 was with euro3 homologation, 2018 euro4 There is on the 18 modell the bashplate and the sprocket protection as on the trials bike, also the kick starter is now the short one... Any changes on gearbox, fuel injection or else ? Someone here has ridden both bikes ? At the moment, both versions are still avaliable at some dealers here in germany, the 2016 is a little bit cheaper....
  8. Cub is nearly finished now, I use NJB ultimate shocks, mount Miller swing arm, sub frame and seat, also new alloy mudguards, oil is now in the frame. Exhaust made by progressiveclassicproducts
  9. Xracing works good on Alp200 , if you want some more horse power, take GPR Exhaust with larger pipe, both needs some changes in Carb Setting....
  10. I want to mount my Miller swing arm, but I don't get the old one out of the frame. The spindle is one peace with the busches ( rust ), any Ideas or special tools to dismount it ?
  11. Had this fraser with big bore engine ( 380ccm), now somewere in Belgium.... Miller frame I only know with the TL125 engine, often with 145ccm, maybe the XL185 engine will be suit the frame....

    improving tlr forks

Magicals springs with internal adjusters, ATF Oil, perfect fork for little money....
  13. I ordered now some NJB shocks, will keep the triumph front fork.....
  14. Ok, here in germany most pre 65 have modified or new frames with modern geometry, twinshock forks and brakes ( Grimeca or TY ), a pre65 with stock frame, fork, wheels and brakes is rare, so if I only modify the triumph fork and put some standart shocks on it, it will be more pre65 than 90% of all other bikes.... For me, a armac or UPB cub is a twinshock with old engine and not a pre65...
  15. Very funny guys here in this forum.... Mikuni was fitted by the previus owner, Trailer is a "Koch M4", alloy box from ebay, bike stand from steadystand..... And now something completely different.... Any ideas about my questions? I normaly use NJB experts or Rockshocks on my trials bikes, perhaps the new NJB ultimates will be a good choice , lenght can be adjusted... The forks are very soft, found nowere in the net harder or progressive springs, don't want to change the complete fork....
