  2. Hi all, Been re-building my GGTXT200 yr 2000 up after doing the crank bearings. I took the casing and selector drum to my local trials shop after I got stuck setting it up. The guy there kindly set it up for me. I put the two gear clusters back in, and with the drum in the neutral position, put the selctor forks in. I tried running through the gears but somethings wrong. with the selector drum in neutral, both clusters rotate..I can go one gear down..but not up the clusters seize. Can someone take a look at the photo below..Is my drum/sprung snubbers set up correctly..it's the only thing I can think of which can cause the problem. Cheers, Col.
  3. Thanks Jon, I will give it a try. Col.
  4. Hi all, Having some trouble setting up the gears/selectors/selector shaft on my 2000 TXT200. Is there a procedure for assembling these. I wish I could get hold of a manual. Any help appriciated. Cheers, Col.
  5. Thanks Paul/Jon, very much aprriciated and thanks for your help. I was hoping for something which gave me serviceable limits of components, since I'm not 100% positive it is the bottom end, I could have done a check. Also what would have been usefull would have been tightening torques ect. Are there any non re-usable parts when taking on this kind of job? stretch bolts and the like? If anyone has done a similar job, would you be so kind as to recomend items I need to/would be good practice to replace while i'm in there. I don't have a lot of money to play with, so just the bones please. Are there any memorable snagging points that would be good for me to be aware of? Thanks in advance for anyones help. Col.
  6. Hi All, New to the forum, so firstly big hello to all. Been told that the bottom end has gone on my 200 gasgas TXT (2000 model) I don't have the spare cash at present to pay for it fixing, so it's gunna have to be a DIY job. I've been searching for a workshop manual for ages but cannot find one. Can anyone suggest where I can get hold of a suitable manual? how dissimilar is the 2000 bike from earlier/later models? could I use a earlier/later manual? Cheers, Col.
