  1. I’ve got heavyweight forks with internal springs but I put some 3ta stantions which are a bit longer with original cub springs and made a spacer for the take up difference and add a bit of pre load and I use a 7.5 weight oil . They work well for me at the mo as I’m not good enough to justify spending over a grand for some reh forks.
  2. Send it to Chris at Meriden off road, he rebuilt a bottom end in my early plain bush engine and had him modify crankcase for his oil pump mod which works well and I’ve had no problems.
  3. I think that the stem on c15 yokes are different to tigercub, the only way would be cut the stem out of tigercub yokes and retro fit to c15 yoke. I looked into this for my own bike but that was as far as I got. Also bear in mind the spindle on wheel may need attention.
  4. Hi guys, im after any advise on where to source some front forks for my cub. i am aware that bultaco or ossa forks may fit or im led to believe! and advise on whether i need to remove the top seat mounting on my frame ( as it was originally a road bike) any other technical advise that may help my build.

    new boy

thanks for the info, when i bought the bike, the previous owner gave me a sammy miller swingarm and a new alloy oil tank so i have a start! I have heard of Terry Weedy and have checked out his website and Sammy Miller products, I think im in for a long project but it has been an ambition to build a bike so here i go! i work as a car mechanic so i plan to to all the work myself and even have a go at building my own wheels! (my wife says its my midlife crisis).
