  1. I've been lurking here for quite a while and thought I'd better say Hi, I've dabbled in Trials as well as enduros and am an ACU National Clerk of Course for Enduro. I picked up the original Speedtracktales site from Taff 'the Horn' Isaacs two years ago after he mothballed it. At that point it was a potted history of the ISDT and Taff had nurtured some amazing contacts across the world who provided him with a lot of information, much of which would have been lost as the providers have since passed away. We have re-skinned the original pages to improve their readability especially with older readers who may have limited internet skills and failing eye-sight. The site retains its original Welsh Roots although more Mid and North Wales centric at present. Although it is predominantly focussed on recording the history of the ISDT in Wales and Welsh Riders in the ISDT. Unavoidably it holds significant amounts of material on the early English Rounds and of course has sucked in large amounts of material on the British Riders and Overseas events. The site is recognised by the FIM as one of its primary heritage archives and has specifically scanned all of its results held for the event for us and has asked they be made available for public use. The FIM also shares its other materials and takes articles we produce for its own publications. I am keen to encourage anyone with an interest in the ISDT who holds any kind of original material associated with it either as photos, awards or souvenirs if they would like them to be shared with the global community of ISDT fans to consider sending photos or scans. We have also acquired a limited amount of material both by purchasing and from donations and amongst our treasures is Jim Alves's ISDT Gold Medal from the ISDT 1953 which was the last event to date Britain won the Trophy as well as some original pre war German Magazine reports on the ISDT. The site also is keen to trace and record the history of the original Enduros in the UK from their origin as reliability trials and features original event reports for events like the Reliance Trial back as far as the 1920's. If you visit the site and have any questions or corrections please do not hesitate to pass them on. www.speedtracktales.com
  2. I'd forgot that one... yes its a good photo set too, I have got a photo of Ivor on his faithful Husky at El Escorial no doubt following your bike
  3. I was pleased to see you have the bike. Alas I do not have the bike but I knew Ivor very well for many years riding with him in Mid Wales Enduros and new his sons daughter and wife. I am now managing an ISDT interest web site http://speedtracktales.wordpress.com and I would be really pleased if you could make images of the bike available and possibly a bit of the histrory you have uncovered with consent to feature it on the site. I am looking for more images of Ivor in the ISDT and hope to be able to get some to add to the ones I already have of him. kind regards Adrian
