  1. Google { Billy T Beta rev 3 carb mods } and you will get an excellent how to fix it and how to set up your carb. LOTS have been posted so you might find it on the links but this is the best.It worked for me Brilliant.
  2. Hi Check out the Billy T how to set up your rev3 carb. Brilliant ... do the breather pipe conversion and do the set up on the float levels and you will have a sweet running engine and No petrol leaking . I used to drain my carb after every trial and didn’t have any problems with it as it’s a pain to take the carb off a rev 3 compaired to the evo’s .
  3. Have a great day up there Baldilocks
  4. I see on the Vertigo works bikes they are using Dunlop tyres! Is this the normal choice for the team ?
  5. Thanks to all for posting about your new Vertigo's . Its great to hear about your experiances with this new trials bike and the first impressions i.e. its character . Im sure that there are many of us who would like to own one of these bikes, but are hanging on to see how others are getting on with theirs first. Im sure I'm not the only one waiting for the quarterly publication to do a comprehensive test on one, not just a quick spin !! Even TMX has done a reasonable test on one. Or have I missed it ? Back in the day I remember bike tests used to include things like, is it easy to take out the air filter and clean it and put it back. How easy is it to top the rad up, some recent bikes you have to nearly remove the rad to top it up! Prehaps the media are afraid of upsetting the importers in case they are not given another bike to test? This sort of testing must improve the bike a lot quicker if these small fults were said out LOUD . Looking forward to hearing more about your lovely bikes.
  6. Hi All Just found this on an American web site , Not what I would call a great test but a bit more of an idea on what the bikes are like. https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2016/01/02/2016-vertigo-combat-camo-works-exclusive-first-test/
  7. Hi dabbist, I had the same problem after a trial I jet washed the bike down , it had been running just fine before hand but after the said washing of the bike it started first kick but it then must of sucked in some water because it then ran like a pig . I was sure a seal or head gasket had gone it also backfired very rough . On this site tho you will see time after time the words FIRST OF ALL ALWAYS CLEAN THE CARB OUT AND BLOW OUT THE JETS WITH AN AIR LINE . Best advice you can ever take notice of . So I cleaned it out and it ran as sweet as ever again .So after muddy trials or very wet trials or over the top jet washing some how water even a small amount can get into the carb and make it run rough . Another good tip I have used is the Billy T mods to float height and breather pipes well worth a look in the other posts here . Rich.
  8. Great work and thanks for your time and much effort .Never been and would love to go but your videos and the next best thing... Thanks.
  9. Hi Phil Try this web site the forks on your bike are very similar but go to the main beta web site for the oil quantity and how to measure the air gap in the tube when putting the oil in . http://www.sherco.com/wayne/Sherco_Fork_Seal_Replacement.pdf Just done mine and went ok . Rich.
  10. Hi all I'm just putting my forks back together rev 3 270 2007 and the manual say leave the right hand spring in and put the oil in 120 mm from the top of fork tube, Lampkins say in their help sheet take spring out then put said oil in ? What is right Rich.
  11. Hi all. I'm a new member having come back to trials after 25 years or so off but riding on the road ect , just got a beta rev 3 270 and just can't wait to start competing again .I am going to rejoin my old club Alton and dist mcc and i have to say what a good and friendly club it is. I've not joined the acu yet so I don't know all the new rules yet . My question is about the marking system do different clubs interpret the rules their way or is it the same throughout the country . I know these questions will be answered when I join the club and acu but I'd like to know what's happening out in trials land . Island rich.
