  1. Hi Dave. I dont think there have been any final instructions issued. If you were successful in getting an entry you would have been informed by email. Which you probably have had if your name is on the IDMCC website entry list of riders. The start time is 11.00am sat so i would imagine you will be able to sign from 9.00-9.30 ish. The venue Alvie estate is approx 4 miles south of Aviemore on the main A9 , for riders headind north the entrance is just beyond information lay-by No 125. Highly likely it will be well flagged. Hopefully see you there , Neil
  2. Help needed, cant seem to cure the forks on my 200 from topping out, i have 220 ml of 10 wt oil in each leg , have fitted new springs from inmotion with a 50mm preload spacer . Have tried different lengths of preload from 35mm to 65mm and also increaseing oil quantity upto 280 ml in 10 ml increments but still didnt make them any better. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. daveflave , i have sent you a pm ,
  4. I had a very similar problem with a 200 which i restored last year , just could not get it to run right, messed about with the carb for what seemed an eternity. If the carb is original it is likely that the slide is worn along with carb barrel, so impossible to set up. In the end i ordered a new carb off Bill Pye at Frankfield Fantic which came correctly jetted and setup . Fitted it to bike and fired up 2nd kick never missed abeat since. Give Bill a phone he is a very helpfull.
  5. I just use horse tack oil brushed on and left to soak in, keeps them water resistant and stops them cracking. And many thanks again for the tow out on sunday .
