  1. Some more photographs of the finished WASP RT4 - sorry for the long wait! Got involved in building this FB76!
  2. The best up to date information I have from old colleagues at Shell research is that Esso Premium is Ethanol free. Shell V-Power Nitro contains 5% Ethanol
  3. Thanks for the period photo, much appreciated as it shows the exhaust system. Are there any other WASP owners out there??
  4. Some photographs of the project so far. The front (Tiger Cub) has been rechromed at Niphos and they have also polished the rear(REH) hub, the fork stanchions were hard chromed by Philpotts. Can anyone tell me if there were side panels originally fitted, as the brackets present would indicate, and were they GRP or alloy?also type of exhaust? The engine is at present being rebuilt, will take some photos when complete.
  5. The Wasp Motorcycles website was indeed my first port of call and there are two black and white very grainy images of Wasps one of which shows Geoff Chandler riding a Bultaco engined one. I did contact Wasp directly and they could only supply me with the approx. year of manufacture from the frame number and who it was sold to (Mr. Hyland). They have not been able to give me any further information.
  6. Hi, can anyone help me with any information or photographs of Wasp RT4 with Villiers engine circa 1964. I am in the process of rebuilding a RT4 and this information would be most useful to achieve the correct period look.
