  1. Ive had my 2017 Repsol rep since Jan this year, and ive been struggling with it recently. On dryer days its fine and a good laugh to ride, but as its winter in NZ at the moment its been a real ball ache! Don't get me wrong, its probably not the bike more my riding style, but my lad rides inters with me and went up a slippery muddy wet stream on his TRS, with hardly a whiff of throttle no problem. Me on the Mont popped over a small rock, trying to be gentle on the throttle and just spun up. I was fuming!! So i don't know, perceiver or move on?

    Montesa Replica 2017

Well, the bike and i survived our 1st trial together, it was good but frustrating for the first couple of laps. Then things started to come together especially the timing, there were a couple of short sharpe banks 1.5m vertical that caught me out early on with to little throttle. Gave it a good blast after that and up i went. Overall im a happy convert and am sure i will enjoy and learn the more i ride it.

Thanks jj65, im in the middle of the pack in intermediate's.
  5. Hey guys, ive just picked up my new Mont, and getting ready for my 1st trial on it tomorrow. Ive gone from a 2008 gas gas 300, Ive been out on it a couple of times and the 1st thing i noticed was how much it pushes on in std gearing in 1st. Ive searched and read as much as i can, and see you guys recommend lowering to a 9 tooth up front, i'll see how i go Sunday with it as std. One thing that has really stood out is how nice the Showa suspension is, going over some concrete blocks that i usually go over with the gasser, i couldn't believe the difference. But hitting these blocks i did notice that my timing was out by a fraction compared to the 2t. Any advice on the bike and how to get the best out of riding the bike from a 2t to 4t would be appreciated. I ride intermediates by the way. Cheers Rob
  6. Thanks for the advice guys, I will give that a try tonight! Cheers Rob
  7. Hey guys, my lad snapped the end of the rear brake pedal off. I've brought a replacement one, but struggling like hell to undo the old one, I'm scared stiff I'm going to strip the Allen bolt. Any tips would be appreciated. Cheers Rob

Bladder! Thanks, You say fill the m/c before installation, what stops the oil coming out of the the new before attaching to the original hose? No doubt simple solution. Thanks

    2012 125 Clutch

Hi 1st post on here and I'm after some advice on switching my sons formula for a ajp master cylinder. I've never had issues with a clutch before, so never played with one. Now I've read numerous posts on here and else where on the net,and my question is how much mineral oil do you put in? Is it to the bottom of the rubber bung type thing in the master cylinder? And one more thing, do you drain it from the bottom then inject from the bottom back to the top with new mineral? Thanks for any help Rob
