  1. Big thanks for the replies everyone. I think it might just be a case of "suck it and see". I can always keep the original parts if for some reason I don't get on with it =] Thanks again!
  2. Ello everyone. I'm looking for peoples honest opinions on the performance of Keihin carbs compared to Dellorto, particularly on a Gas Gas. It's difficult to just jump on someone's bike who is running one and see as their bike would probably ride differently without the carb anyway. I'm looking at running it with the Raga reed block too if I do buy one. For reference I'm riding a 2013 Gas Gas 300. Thanks in advance!
  3. I think it's a design fault as the pushrod on the brake side is in the bottom hole whereas the clutch side it is in the top hole. I think the best course of action would be to get it adjusted where I like it and grind off the excess with a dremel. This would solve the problem but I'd prefer to have it working properly obviously haha.
  4. Ello everyone. I recently had a crack on someones bike that had these Apico Flexi Levers... http://www.motomerlin.org.uk/ekmps/shops/motomerlin1/images/apico-flexi-lever-ajp-trials-pair--3687-p.jpg I've gone past the point of breaking levers all the time and haven't broken one in over a year however they felt nice and had good adjustment so thought I'd treat myself. Upon fitting them though I've found that the brake lever will flex backwards however because the clutch adjuster screw on the clutch lever is in the top slot, it prevents the lever from flexing due to the adjuster screw. I keep thinking I must be missing something as the whole point of them is to flex? Has anyone else got these levers and found the same? All the best, Tom
  5. Cheers mate. I'll give them a shout and see what they have =] Not a fan of them. had a long session on one and much preferred my gasser
  6. Ello everyone. I'm considering a change of bike soon and weighing up my options. It's easy enough to grab a ride on the 2 strokes as they are common enough to find someone who will let you have a little play however Montesa's are few and far between and due to the price tag people tend to be reluctant to let you ride theirs. Also the only ones I've seen are IMMACULATE. Do you guys actually ride them? Basically I'm after a dealer who will let me pop down and just have a pootle around the car park. I don't need to start chucking it up rocks etc, just have a feel and see if I "gel" with it or not. I'm in Sheffield so the closer the better really! All the best, Tom
