Hi, Has anyone any experience of lowering the gearing on a TXT 50 Boy? And also where I could obtain the Chains/sprox for the bike. Thanks

Great Trial!! Classic Dougie on first lap (only dropping 2 marks). Unfortunate 5 on the tough section 2 on second lap, then it seemed to go pear shaped for him culminating in the broken foot rest during his last race. Dabill's score does not do justice to his very good performance, showing a lot of promise. Super venue, fantastic entertainment, brilliant sections, great riding from all the competitors, and my 6 year old son loved it. The only disappointment was that over half the audience left before the presentation. I know a lot of people have a long way to travel back home, (or catch last orders!) so they would want to get away early (only to be gridlocked in the car parks!). But Bou, Raga, and Fugigas and the organisers deserved better than that, from what is supposed to be the "HOME" of Motorcycle trials.!). Can't wait for next year though! (I hope there is one!).

Hi, My 6 year old son is very keen on Trials, and I am looking to buy a bike in the spring. He has not ridden a motorcycle before, so I am thinking about looking at an auto (e.g Beta minitrial). Has any one got any advice regarding these bikes, and there suitability for use in competition. I know the traditional route for youngsters was with the TY 80, but my son has set his heart on a more "modern" looking bike, like the ones Dougie rides! Whilst he is 6 years old he has the height and build of an 8 year old, so I dont want a bike he will grow out of too soon. On the other hand I want him to have fun while he is learning to handle the bike and gain confidence, and not get bogged down with an over complex bike (ie clutch, and a box full of gears!). Thanks.
