    Wiring

His I have my sy 250 up ando running but the cables arento tidy just wondering if someone could post a picture of how they ran the cables or if there's already been a post about it could ye send a link as I can't find it. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the replies!! And I enjoy ripping stuff apart and putting it back together. Why pay a pro when you can do it yourself and learn more about your bike while doing so? Well that's just how I look at it anyway. I have other bikes to ride so I'm in no rush either.
  5. well if i be more exact cant get flywheel off or split case any tips?
  6. Hi, I have a 03 sy250 and i was wondering what special tools would i need to take apart the engine to give it a full rebuild? i have attempted it without these tools but it was impossible. any links to where i could get these tools in uk or ireland would be great thanks.
  7. Thanks! I ended up getting a length of rod and a lump hammer and just hammering it it took a lot of sweat and a few broken knuckles but its out
  8. hi im rremoving the engine from my 03 sy250 and ive gotten as far as removing the rear swing arm bolt but it will not budge any tips? and if i use force to get it out is there anything i need to be careful of breaking or damaging?
  9. Maybe try trialstribulations.net
  10. Thanks a million you were right about the master cylinder not being fully disengaged I owe you a pint for that advice the Scorpa will see the mountains once again
  11. Ya hopefully that will do it! Should it take long for the clutch to start working right after bleeding?
  12. Where about in the west? I'm from galway!
  13. There is no bleed nipple on these slave cylinders. You have to bleed it through the banjo. I bled out all the old fluid and I put new fluid in the resevior and in the banjo I used a cable tie to keep the slave cylinder compressed while I pump the clutch lever air bubbles were coming out and now there's none but the clutch isn't working. There in no pressure at the lever when I pull in and the slave cylinder is decompressed I know I'm doing something stupid or not doing something small but I just can't figure it out.
  14. hi i have seen the other threads on bleeding the clutch but it just doesnt seem to be working for me at all! i got a new slave cylinder as the old one crapped itself! but i cant get the fluid from the resevoir out. i pump it and the first pump a wee squirt comes out but after that nothing. any help would be appreciated.
