  1. yes have a look here http://www.mid-atlantictrials.com/Montesa.html
  2. An oko 24/26mm will be a great upgarde after the standard Amal, will transform starting and throttle response.
  3. Yes thats the later 200 C model that came out in 1982
  4. if its got the case protectors/winglets on the frame and later style front brake hubs, it will be 82 onwards.
  5. You can get a TRS or Gas Gas brake hose guide (of Ebay) that will clip on the fork above the lower triple clamp, then tighten it in the desired position.

    MH 200

200's are great bikes, you will find it a lot more agile than your 248.. Kick start gear are more of an issue on 242s, I believe you can get replacement gears from inmotion

    172 Fuel Mix

I would think thats about right I run my 348 on 50:1 semi-synthetic
  8. I'd start of at Surrender then drive round to Grand Canyon (though a bit of a walk to this section) Then a spot of lunch then off to Bridge End (which is near the road) then start/finish field
  9. Hi, I would think so as its based on a TY that came from Japan.. they are relatively straightforward to get (The Nova not the Majesty!)
  10. I've had a 348 for a couple of years and once set up they are great bike to ride. turns well for a twin shock. Dont think it will be heavier than a 247 but defo more torque You can have them mild or wild depending on how you set up the ignition...
  11. All looks in place to me, I'd check selector mechanism first by loosing the three screws and the bolt on the right hand side. You can check the gears are ok by turning over the engine and putting a spanner on the square shaft in the middle of the star wheel.
  12. The first 200's came out in 81 the later 200 'c' model came out in 82. You can tell if you have a later bike as it had loops welded on to the frame to protect the engine cases and the tank seat unit was sighlt different over the top shock mount plus it had the later front hubs and mk2 amal.. Hope that helps..
  13. Hi Crankcase, if you are just starting out Lothian Trials club run good beginner trials one on this Sunday at Aikeyside near Gifford. There's also Glenlomond trials club who have a practice ground in Perth and Kinross. East neuk Wobblers run lots of trials and are very active, maybe ping them via facebook hope that helps
  14. I'd get genuine Honda ones slightly cheaper than SKF and good quality

    315 fuel/oil

I'd second that 80:1 is about right ... Interested to hear what you think of your 315 after actually riding one?
