  1. Mine did that and I found I had a hair line cut in the radiator vent/overflow tube (coming off the cap). A little liquid tape and it hasn't whistled since.
  2. Howdy, I have to have a total knee replacement and I was wondering if anyone else has had one and gone back to riding? Specifically: How long until you were competitive again?,What things could you not perform that you could before?, Any other words of wisdom? Thanks in advance for the information.
  3. Our attendance is also lagging. I agree with the "instant gratification" syndrome. The increase in AMA insurance has about put our club under. Where else have any of you been able to get insurance? Most of the companies that I have contacted (recommended by friends that run MX) do not know about trials and if they do, the hoops you jump thru (drawings of all sections 30 days in advance, etc.) for the $15 per event savings is not worth it. Thanks for suggestions regarding insurance!
  4. Hey Biff, Sorry to hear about your shoulder. We had a great time at Fun in the Sun, hopefully you can make it next year. Pictures are posted on facebook under Florida Trials Association. Speedy healing...cathy

    Beta 4t

Hello, I have 2 Rev 4's and absolutely love them. Oil changes do take a little more time, but no big deal. I have had one for 8 months and one for 6 months and I have not had any problems with either of them. The gaskets on the head took a couple of weeks to seat fully and during that time I had a little seepage where the head joins the jug, but nothing major. It took me a little time to adjust to the 4 stroke since the last one I owned was back in 1973 (TL125), but I've been able to make my 2 stroke style adapt to the 4 stroke. I would recommend the Rev 4's highly!

    4 Stroke Question

Thanks for the help on the fuel tap. I've had my bike a few weeks also. Really enjoying it so far. Traction is unbelievable. The only hiccup is when it gets real hot sometimes it wants to stall. I just adjust the idle up when I've been riding a long while. Have you encountered this issue and if so, what remedy did you use?

    4 Stroke Question

Hello, I have a 2008 Beta 4 stroke and was wondering which way the black lever needs to be on the fuel tap for riding. If anyone knows, please advise. Thanks!
